A free license for up to 4 CPU on SPARC / x86 H/W will be available, and not restricted to non commercial use, like previous were !

Any links to download this thing? I've tried several on their site and they all just hang. I can't imagine the demand is so hot that it would end up like that. Maybe a BitTorrent to an ISO? These Sun guys have to be more clever with their distribution, eh?

First, My posting was referring to Solaris 10 which is not yet available (it should be by the end of next january).

Second, you can download a beta version, which still has the previous licensing restriction, at:

About half a million Solaris downloads have been made in the last 12 month or so, and I'm not aware of any problem on the site.
