Setting up KVM on Solaris Zone. How to add vnic

I'm trying to use the virtualized nic name from zone configuration for the kvm command like so

ifconfig -a
zone_nic10: flags=201000843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4,CoS> mtu 1500 index 2
inet 192.168.1.1 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 192.168.129.255

sudo dladm create-vnic -l zone_nic10 vnic3

but that gives me

dladm: vnic creation over zone_nic10 failed: invalid argument

any idea on how i can have this command complete successfully.

KVM? I know Illumos SmartOS has KVM, but do really Solaris have KVM as well?
