Hi

Hi

I am handling large no. of production servers which I have to reboot as part of scheduled activity. In that case if someone do the changes in the server on temporary basis, i.e. setting environment, adding route mounting file system the same will not be available after reboot.

So, to avoid all such issues I would like to have some tool/script which will verify all such parameters before reboot, so that we can compare the same after rebooting it in case of any descrepancy.

Thanks
Rajan

You can save your script in /etc/rc0.d/K00local and have it logging its output to a file in some persistent directory like /var/tmp.

I'm afraid there isn't such thing available on the net so you would have to hire someone to specify and write the tool.
