need information about dual boot


Dears,
i am using open solaris 5.11 and windows xp at the same machine
after make reinstall for windows XP the BOOT looder for UNIX is disapper

kindly i need make the boot again how can i do that

Start by making the Solaris parition the active one. That might be enough to recover the grub menu.
You can use a live CD or the Solaris boot media to achieve that.
Run the "fdisk /dev/rdsk/c0d0p0" command from a shell then select choice "2" to set the active partition.

Your boot disk might be different than c0d0p0.
