Mount filesystem separately on Solaris container running on 5.10

Hello folks,

/opt and /var are not separate filesystems in solaris container and it's part of / directory. This fills the / directory exponentially.

This is a solaris container running on 5.10. Appreciate if you can advise how to go about mounting it as separate mount.

-bash-3.2$ du -dk / | sort -nr | head
6736999
1700279 /var
1291105 /opt

Please post the zone configuration (zonecfg -z yourzone info), especially the file system part and "df -k" output on the global zone.

Please add code tags around the cli samples for them to be more readable (Edit -> Go Advanced -> Select the text -> click on the "#" icon.)

In any case, it doesn't look you have a dedicated file system for your zonepath. Is /zones really in the global zone / file system?

From where to you plan to pick disk space for your zone /var and /opt?
