Log rotation for my application logs


Hi,
I just want to limit the size of my log file, it generated at a very high speed due to which there is a space issue always in the server.
Please help

You should have said you are using Solaris.
Ask the Mods to move this to Solaris forum via the report button.

In some cases you can use GNU tools on Solaris from the Sun Freeware pkg, usually installed under /opt/sfw.
Not sure if it includes logrotate.
