Keep snoop running even after closing terminal

I am looking for a way to keep snoop running even when I close the terminal, I have tried with & but that closes the snoop as soon as I close the terminal
Is there a way around this? I want to take a packet capture that I at-least couple of hours long
Thanks

I had tried nohup (As mentioned below) but it did not work and data collection stopped as it closed the terminal

nohup snoop -d etg0 -o /tmp/op.cap 8080
