How to rename a File System in Solaris 9

I have a file system mounted on the root as /dbraid01old and I want to rename it to /dbarchive. This is the entry for it in the vfstab file:

/dev/md/dsk/d40 /dev/md/rdsk/d40 /dbraid01old ufs 2 yes

How do I rename it?

A filesystem has no name but a mount point that can change. You just need to create a new directory (/dbarchive) and unmount/mount the filesystem on it.

thanks for the info

i did the following and was able to get through:

1. Opened a Terminal and typed mkdir /dbarchive
2. Did cd /etc
3. Entered mount to see all the mounted file systems
4. Did a umount /dbraid01old to unmount to /dbraid01old file system
5. Did a mount /dev/md/dsk/d40 /dbarchive to mount the new file system on the /dev/md/dsk/d40 mount point
6. Edited the /dev/md/dsk/d40 entry in vfstab to point to the new file system
