How to disable power on self test in Solaris ?

I am using Solaris 2.8 on a SUn V240

Each time I boot, a power on self test is started.

How can I get rid of this self test ?

Thanx in advance

Is it maybe set to boot in diagnostic mode?
At the ok prompt type
printenv diag-switch?
if it's set to true then do a
setenv diag-switch? false
that will turn off the diagnostic start up.
That's all that I can think of that would make it do the exstened post.
You could always do a stop n during the boot process to set all of the prom defaults...it might clear it up.
