eSata on Solaris???

I want to build a Solaris machine, E6400 C2D (1.86 GHz), 2GB RAM, Raptor 150GB with Solaris and Windows, Nvidia 8600. I also want to have a ZFS raid with three 500 GB discs. When I run Windows I dont need ZFS. I want to unplug the ZFS raid, for silence. Could this external Sata card work with my configuration?

Or, have three plastic chassi (slot) with each HD slide it in, and unplug the discs? eSata would be nice, if it gives full speed. Then I can lock the drives in a safe. Or a big external HD chassi.

Sure, ZFS isn't supported by Windows anyway.

And energy saving, that make sense.

I have no idea, the data sheet doesn't mention Solaris. In all cases, this card RAID features would be of no use and redundant when using ZFS.

I do not intend to use the RAID features of the card. I just want to plug in 3-4 Hard Drives residing in an external chassi. Then I can remove the chassi with eSata, easily. I can even lock the chassi in during over night.
