Compatibility of A7N8X-E Deluxe with Sil 3112A

Hello first off,

Well I'm impressed with sun.com and everything they offer but not with the compatibility of A7N8X-E Deluxe with Sil 3112A.

So here is my problem:
1) Downloaded CD set
2) Boot with disk 1
3) auto detect takes forever (5-10min) but gets through
4) Select all my packages and installs
5) when it comes time to pick the drive to install to my WDC WD2000JD-00FYB0 SATA DISK drive is no where to be found.

This is what I've tried:
1) Hit ESC and "detected" the "Silicon Image 3112A" Raid controller
NOTE: Remember this raid controller is on the mobo.
2) saved my configuration
3) get again to step #5 above and no drive listed

This is what's needed:
Tell me what I'm doing wrong, if so. If possible any suggestions, hints, tips, clues, will be greatly received.

-Jon

Question press ESC

During the first four seconds of booting from Solaris 10 disk 1:

1) Try to add IDE Controller and get:
"The device driver, Solaris/drivers/isa.025/ata.bef, is missing. Press ENTER to continue"

Any thoughts on this one and is this the problem?

Install Solaris Express instead, all this ".bef" stuff has been changed so chances are higher your H/W will be supported.
