chroot ftp

Hi there,

Does anybody know of a way to setup chroot'ing on ftpd (the ftp daemon that ships with solaris OS)? Don't really want to install vsftpd or the like. Is this possible with the ftpd that comes with solaris? Thanks!

Howzit

ftpd that comes with Solaris can be chrroted to a certain extent. U will onlt be able to use it with anonymous user and guest u will not be able to use it with other uses to be chrroted to there enviroment. In that case u may have to look at vsftpd or wu-ftpd. I prefer vsftpd.
