CDlive froze

Hi,
I tried to install the liveCD preview 2009,

I had to start manually the graphic interface by running gdm,
After that I tried to install on HD, the install button didn't work.

I check it on laptop HP with 1 GB mem, it reboots without stopping???

On another machine Laptop Acer , 512 MB memory, It froze.

What is the requirements to run CDlive

thanks for help

Hello
I have no clue what CDlive is, so I suppose it's just a live CD.
Most of the times such live CDs (or installation CDs) don't work because the HRDW you're using is not 100% compatible.
When your OS is about to boot your should get a screen asking you to just to press enter to boot, or show some kernel options. Choose the kernel options and give on the command line all options to deactivate as much as you can, e.g. "acpi=off", "apic=off", etc... . See if it boots that way and if it does, redo the whole thing leaving out a few things you previouosly deactivated and at the end you should know what wasn't running well with your HRDW.
