cd rom drive not recognised

hai

I have installed solaris 10 on my x86 machine.
my cd rom drive is not shown in when I list df -h.

I have restarted volmgr, used devfsadm and reconfigure files .

I am not able to add any packages from cd drive.
cd is just ejected when i try to access cd drive.

is any problem in os

kindly help me.

Did you install solaris with the same drive ?

What reports the O/S when booting about this CD-ROM drive (dmesg) ?

yes . cd rom did work and installed o/s also.

when i tried with second cd of solaris 10 and third cd , cd rom started giving problem.
