Biggest Disk in Sunfire 280r ?
 

Hi there

Does anybody know what the biggest capacity disk I can get into a Sunfire 280R

I currently have two 73gb disks , but I need to get these up to the biggest available

Any help would be greatly appreciated

The docs tell you that, internal, 73 Gb disk are max (times 2 = 146 Gb total).

Other than trying larger ones and seeing what happens, it's hard to say. I've been able to upgrade other older Sun hardware well past the hard drive sizes listed in the datasheet, but that's no guarantee that it will work on anything else!
