I tried taking the config that worked but didnt show the screen, and change the horiz sync and vert sync to what its supposed to be and i get that error, help? I NEVER use X but decided i'm going to again, and X.org is new to me, Thanks. I think it's because i lost the default config and found one that loaded and did the same thing, but yea so if anyone could even attach the default config file or where i could get it maybe that'd help. Thanks

It could be something different than the syncs, or your drivers maybe, what Card do you have? maybe try running xorg.conf again? I sometimes have to run it a couple times to double check myself. and if your setting it higher, maybe try setting your color depth to 16, or pick some generally low resolution settings and try starting x, just to make sure its a configuration problem for sure, if it starts, maybe try bumping everything up slowly.
