Upgraded my Sony Vaio notebook to 12.1 and now xmodmap is not invoked from within ~/.xfce4/xinitrc. The line is toward the bottom of the file and reads:
xmodmap ~/.Xmodmap
which used to swap the ctrl and caps lock keys when X was started.
I've no idea why it stopped since I can run it manually from the command line in a virtual terminal and it works.
Any ideas why it might have stoppe working from within the xinitrc file?
