trouble installing slackware 10 in XFS and JFS filesystems
I type the command "mkfs.jfs -c /dev/hda1" or "mkfs.xfs /dev/hda1" and it makes the filesystem, then I goto the setup menu, I select the partition, it asks me if I want to format it, check for bad blocks, or do nothing, i choose the last option since the setup menu does not format the filesystem in JFS and XFS, then when im about to install the system I get a bunch of error messages telling me that it cannot copy the files to the hdd....

never mind, i figured it out by myself, all i had to do was load the xfs.s or the jfs.s kernels on boot :)
