Slackware requires cd to run
I booted slackware with a cd-rw. When running slackware, it is continuously writing to the cd. Is there a way to install slackware so that it is installed to the hard drive instead of the cd?
I want to be able to use cd-drive while I am running the OS.
Sounds like you are running a live cd. You need to download an official image (http://www.slackware.com/getslack/) and burn it to a cd/dvd, and install to the hard drive.
