slackware on embedded system

Hello all,
I would install Slackware on a Barebone cv863a system with Via C3 processor.
This system has 4 USB, 4 ethernet ports, an 60 GB HDD. There is only an USB-HDD for transfering data. How can I install Slackware on the internal HD using USB-HDD?

does it support booting off USB devices?

Else, do you have another computer that can take the internal 60Gig drive (I assume it is a laptop drive?)... 'cause you can always install slackware on another computer to the drive, then pop the drive back in... (with some minor editing of the boot loader and fstab so it boots properly)
