slackware kernel building for idiots

Slackware site says there is a guide to building a slackware kernel. Can't find it. Is there a step-by-step guide to building a kernel, or better yet, how to patch a SLACKWARE kernel, which a newbie can use? Thanks.

go to the slackware forum in this website. look @ the first two stickies you see. All the info is there. good luck.
