Slackware Install with no-bootable DVD

I have a problem with installing slack 11 on my PC and i dont know why.. when i make evrything by solution....

I rewrite bootable bare.i kernel to floppy diskette, then i rewrite rootdisks Install.1 and Install.2 to other 2 floppy disks.
I restart the computer, from BIOS i change first boot to FLOPPY, save and exit after that... i insert the bootdisk bare.i into the floppy, then start loading, loading is success and i see the line "boot:"
there i press ENTER and start loading vmlinuz... loading is success too, then ask me for install.1 diskete, i insert it and everything is ok, after that ask me for Install.2... and its the same...
OK everything is fine from here...
I go to cfdisk and there i make my linux partitions... 1 for swap space, 2 for /usr and /home dirs and one for /
everything is fine here too...
Now is time for the SETUP... everything looks fine there.. i choose my pakages, i choose my swap partition, make other 3 partitions to /usr /home and / , choose keymap, and so on...
OK i am ready for install now... im going to SOURCE... there ask me from where to get the installation files ... i choose to search for any cd/dvd slackware ... start a little loading.. then he find them and show me the screen with slackware pakages... A,AP,D,F... and so on... i select all, then enter the Full Install option...
dialog window apear and say something like...
"Full Instalation in progress, please wait" and right after 2 sec. he say that instalation is ready and now i can pres [ctrl]+[alt]+[del] for restart... o.O

I am a linux newbie, but i know what the full instalation meens and what he looks.. and that what i see is not :eek:

Ok, so you have a CD/DVD in the drive when you're installing the packages, right ? Which one ?

I suspect it may be corrupt. Try again a few times and if it does the same thing, maybe check the md5sum of the disk and/or burn another.

This is not the first time I have seen somebody post about this exact same problem. The installer "finishes" in only a few seconds, obviously without actually doing anything.

However, I have never seen a solution or acceptable theory put forth either.

Even if the disc image was completely corrupt and all of the packages were useless garbage, the installer would still attempt to install them simply because they were selected and the files are on the disc. The installer would then give the "This package may be corrupted" error (which I unfortunately got intimately acquainted with on a machine with a bad optical drive).

In this situation though, the installer does not even attempt to install the packages, nor (at least, not that the topic creator said) shows any sort of error message.

A little more information about your hardware could help. Once you boot the install using the floppies then do a;

We can use the information to diagnose the problem.

You could mount the install cd to a mount point then direct the source request to this mount point. That is if the cd/dvd was recognized and mountable.

I really suspect that the cd/dvd was not recognized.
