Slackware 9.1 installation very very slowly

Friends,

I´m having problems with the Slackware 9.1 installation. When I try to install in my computer, the installation process is very slowly.
The computer where I´m trying to install is a Duron 1.0, 192MB, 4GB...

anybody can help me?!?!?

PS: When I try to install Slackware 9 through Virtual PC this problem occurs too...

Thanks!

put the iso file on a harddrive and mount the iso file at boot time..
mkdir installfiles
mount -o loop thefile.iso /installfiles
then when you choose your source choose premounted directory /installfiles

just a reminder or a heads up if you didn't know that the mods here do not look too kindly on double posting.
