Slackware 9.1 installation on Serial ATA

Hi,
I've recently bought a new PC whose HDD are S-ATA ones... I'm using them as a RAID-0 array (one double virtual HDD). My problem is that my RAID array can't be recognised by any precompiled kernels (I've tried so far bare.i and raid.i). Due to my lack of knowledge I want to get a precompiled kernel (v2.4.22) just for the Slackware, or to find another way (a configuration at the boot menu perhaps?) to install Slackware Linux 9.1 on my S-ATA drives.
I don't want to compile anything yet, I 'll compile a 2.6.x kernel later on my own...
I've read already a lot of topics regarding Linux and S-ATA, but none of them mentioned any useful thing for newbies , that's why I've decided to post this thread.

Thanks in advance

Just did some searching and got installation working for me.

Read this thread, it's what worked for me.

It doesn't mention anything about RAID-0, does it? Anyway, I just have to compile on my own a kernel ...

I've applied the -ac4 patch and my disks are now identified. However, I'm still looking for an Intel Software RAID driver. I've used the iswraid-2.4.22.patch, but it gets loaded before the SATA driver, so no RAID array is detected. Any idea?
