Slackware 10.2 Install: A Few Questions

A few questions about my slackware 10.2 install

1) How do I create users?

2) Why doesn’t full install ask for disks 3&4?

3) What do I say when it asks what my network’s called?

Thanks

1) As root use the command adduser

2) Discs 3 & 4 are source code discs

3) Not sure what your asking, if I had to guess hostnamefor PC which really can be anything.

Happy Slacking,

The source code for all the apps on disks 1 & 2 - you don't need the.

Open a console, su to root and type netconfig and follow the prompts, entering all the required information.

You should then (still as root) be able to issue ifconfig eth0 up (that's the number zero at the end of "eth").

Could I also point you at http://www.slackbook.org/ - this will have many of your questions answered. And some you haven't asked yet!
