Slackware 10.1 and Software RAID
 

Okay it's been a WHILE since I've messed with Slack but am ready to come home :).

Anyway I googled and looked on here for a guide on how to install Slackware 10.1 and use software RAID 0.

So does someone have a good howto or something that can guide me through this? This is one thing I disliked about Slack is that unlike other distros it didn't let you configure software RAID on the fly.

I've never setup one, but you can start by taking a look at: man mdadm
and also in http://www.tldp.org/ how-tos and guides. Remember that slackware is pretty standart so you should be able to use most guides on it.

Thanks for your reply .... I will check those out. A diffrence I have found is that most distro's allow you to configure RAID on the fly but Slack seems to lack in this (unless I missed it).
