Slackware 10.0 wont boot from scsi drive

I finally was able to successfully install Slackware 10.0 on my computer (200Mhz, 64M ram, 4.3g HD) but when i rebooted it after the install it wouldn't boot from the hard drive. It tried to boot, but it just printed "99 99 99 99 99" about a hundred times.

Anyone kno how i can get it to boot from the hard drive?

Did you built scsi support into the kernel? Also check that your BIOS has LBA mode turned on

I was able to get it to boot from the hard drive finally!! When i installed it, i thought i had set it up to automatically start a GUI, but it just goes straight to the command line promt. How can i get it to start up the GUI automatically?
