Hi I have read all aboute mouse configuration but not found nothing about my problem. I have only one usb mouse (logitech pilot whel) and it works goot on text command line (gpm -m /dev/mouse -i imps2) but when I start X no pointer appair... I have also tried to use auto on xorgconfig but nothing works

I have tried to let my slack work with the mouse connected via ps/2 by the converter and the problem was the same. Next I realized that in the mouse was working because clicking the left button the menu of my windowsmaker appare. Next I changed the choose of my video driver I choose a "generic matrox" [mga] and the mouse pointer came out ether usb and ps/2. The starnge thing is that I have a matrox millenium g200 with 16Mb of ram (I'm sure and also lspci give me the output). Why doesn't the g200 driver hide the mouse pointer on xorg ?????


Using the mga driver probably I can't use the DRI extensions
