Samba installed, however SWAT cannot be found

I have installed Samba from the SlackDVD, and slackpkg search reports [ installed ] - samba-4.1.1-i486-1_slack14.1, so I'm assuming SWAT should be installed as well. However, the /usr/sbin/swat binary is not to be found and on closer (though I have to admit a bit cursory) inspection of the file list there is no mention of a swat binary.

Having experiences with disappeared files I reinstalled samba but that didn't create swat either.

I have checked the changes files on the DVD and there is no mention of a modification in the sense that SWAT is removed.

On the samba.org page they say that some distributions decide not to include SWAT, but that a separate package is usually provided, however I can't find that either in n nor in extras.

So I a bit at a loss now, how can I get SWAT installed on my machine?

**Added later**
I see that I forgot to mention the Slackware version: 14.1

Well.... that's a bit of an eye opener.... Okay, thanks... I would have expected a mention in the release notes, but perhaps that was already mentioned in the 14.0 notes (I came straight in from 13.37). Now I at least have something to work from.

Hi all, I tried to install swat2 following the wiki, but I can't find the 'paster' tool nor the setup.py tool

can anyone give some hint?

Kind regards
