Partition Program
Hey my names Imraan,
Im a Slackware 10 user, and i have a question about partitioning program... i have a 120W.D h.d 2 partitions current, and i want to make a few more, but partitions have files on them already, i know about cfdisk and fdisk, but i dont want to loose data from these two partitions, basiclly im creating /home partition out of the / partition and i dont want to loose data.. i would like to know of a better way +/ program of doing this without loosing data... thank you.. |
think you need this : called parted
http://www.gnu.org/software/parted/parted.html you can re-size the / part. , ( carefull, read all instructions ....) egag |
