Mutagenix giving me a hard time installing

as a person has posted before, I am having trouble getting it to write its partition to the hard drive, it keeps telling me I need to format it to fda instead of the default sda, so what do I do, as the last person to post this sort of issue had his post edited.

Mutagenix != Slackware

even quite obvious from the name

if you want to ask the mutagenix people e.g. on
Quote:
Internet Relay Chat (IRC)
irc.freenode.net #mutagenix
you should make your point clearer. e.g. this:
Quote:
format it to fda instead of the default sda
does not make sense at all...

sorry if I wasn't making much sense, it was really late, I was really tired and my brain wasn't working that well, I used the mutegenix IRC channel and no one was online so I will try again there and hope someone is online.

what I meant was I can't get it to recognize my partitions, it keeps telling me to format it with Fdisk, and I don't know where I can find an fdisk partitioner for linux.

If you are using some sort of installer it should have fdisk included. If not, you can boot with a rescue CD or floppy and use the included fdisk to format your partitions before running the installer again.
