Missing RAM with Slack 10.2
 
My new Dell GX620 has 2GB RAM. The system has an intel 945 chipset and the video uses shared video RAM. With Slackware 10.2 loaded, top only reports 904452K. Can you help me find the missing 1GB?

Slack's kernels aren't compiled with Himem suport. You may want to recompile your kernel.

Himem, Hmmmm. I think I have to recompile in order to get dual core working as well. Guess I can kill two birds with that one.
