Installing slackware...
I need to install slackware 9.1 on my p1 233mhz with 2x 1gb hd
When I've created my partition with CFDISK= /dev/hdb Primary:ext3 ~800mb Logical: swap ~200mb /dev/hdc Logical: ext3 1000mb but when I quit CFDISK and I re-enter, partition are separated by default /dev/hdb primary ext3 ~500mb logical swap ~100mb logical ext3 ~400mb /dev/hdc primary ext3 ~500mb logical swap ~100mb logical ext3 ~400mb So I don't have enough memory when I install slacky... Why I can't separate 1-800mb/200mb 2-1g |
that last sentence made no sense to me personally, you used too many numbers
that through me off, sorry :S, but what i will ask about your attempt at doing this is are you pressing : Code:
write last option on the bottom of the screen in cfdisk out of the 9 options ... or are you just simply going to quit when your done setting it uP ? |
