Install slackware without fdd & cdrom

Hi all,

I have problem when installing slackware with cdrom & floppy. Please help me!!!

Hardware
Sony PCG-C1XA
no cdrom
no floppy
/dev/hda1 win98 - dos mode
/dev/hda2 SLAX LiveCD version (installed into harddisk)
/dev/hda3 swap

I have download slackware 10.1 into /dev/hda1. I want to install slackware into my notebook. How can I do it?

I have try to cp bzImage & initrd.img from slackware cd1 to /boot
append /etc/lilo.conf
image = /boot/bzImage
root = /dev/hda2
label = SlackwareLinux
read-only

Booting it with this option at lilo, it will show unable to open an inital console and reboot.

Please help me & thanks you for your helping

Hi SVN,

Thanks you for your answer. I have try it and it's ok now. But when I format my partition to ext3, it cannot let me install the slackware. When I format it to ext2, it's ok. Is the Slackware 10.1 cannot support ext3 file system?

Thanks you
