I need info on slackware 12
 
ok, I have tried to install the last version, only to have it fail to boot after a successful install, what I really want to know is if slackware 12 has the option of using grub as its bootloader? since I have a REALLY hard time with LILO, and I have a real preference for grub, can anyone help me?

I have tried installing grub during the initial install before, and had problems with it. My suggestion is to just install lilo, then after installation, put grub on there.

Did you put lilo on the MBR?
