Unhappy I have read all the variuos questions BUT NOT what I am Looking for:

I am using a store bought DVD version of slack-14.2
On my Desktop which is a Dell It went wonderful and I am enjoying slack-14.2 and windows 10 pro on the same machine
This is not so with either of my laptops but I will only concern you with the DELL
I can cf-disk and make 1 large part not assigned and then run the install for win 10 pro everything does not go so well when i went into the Bio's to boot from the USB it can't find the USB and the same goes for the DVD so for me to access the USB or the DVD I hit the F-12 key at the prompt this allows me to boot either the DVD or the USB I can then install Windows 10 pro and everything goes very well and can boot into the Hard Drive now after setting it up as default in the Bio's
then I use the Boot Manager to shrink my C:> and make another un-allocated drive now I reboot and use the F-12 key to boot the Slackware DVD I not that none of the partitions are marked as EFI or MBR but a fat 32 file is marked as boot it is 500 M so there are also a 16 M recovery Partition and the non-allocated the one I shrunk from win 10 and then the windows 10 system file which is 117.6 G and is not a bookable system.
I make the swap and the Linux system the swap is a 16 M and the Linux is a 115.8 G and I make this boot able so I install the Linux system it formats the swap and the Linux and then sees the NTFS windows system I set this on /mnt/windows and the other 500 M is present but I do not mount it and the same with the 16 M recovery.
I then let it find the slack DVD install and choose to install everything after install it asks if i want to make a Linux USB boot stick and i say yes insert a blank USB and create the USB stick. then it asks if I want to install Lilo on a super partition no install or on the MBR well I chose the MBR but 5 there is no MBR on the system and it goes into the Lilo Loader and does not install Lilo and continues to setup the system after it asks me to exit setup and it reboots
now because LILO did not install the HDD partition only boots Windows my other options are to boot the USB or the DVD I choose the USB ans attempt to boot from the stick which does not boot and it shuts the computer off. I have to turn the computer back on to continue and I still can not boot Slack but only Windows..
I do not know how to edit the boot file. To boot anything but Windows
and each of the forms suggest that I have a MBR or a EFI and if I have those 2 I can install and run GRUB or GRUB2
and one answers only goes with inastalling Ubundu or Linux-lite

You can take the easy way out and add Slackware to the Windows boot menu. I wrote this for Windows 7 but it works just as well in Windows 10: http://alien.slackbook.org/blog/addi...ws7-boot-menu/
In the comments section, the "easybcd" program is mentioned which makes the process even easier.
