Unhappy I cannot set mailcap to read msword doc with openoffice

Hi Everybody

I am having problems to set up mailcap to read msword doc files from pine.

When I use any of the following lines in mailcap:
application/msword; /usr/bin/abiword %s
or
application/msword; /usr/bin/soffice %s
I get an error message. But it works fine is I use Kword:
application/msword; /opt/kde/bin/kword %s

This problem is only for doc files, not for ppt or xls.

Additional info: my PC runs slackware 10.2

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
Thanks

Does your file contains spaces? Try using "%s"
