ok the script in slackware 14.1 didn't work

at making a boot drive (error at line 324 then at line 375)
dd-ing the image might have worked ( I hit the wrong Fkey and the damned hp put a windoze recovery image on the drive )
tiring to fix the thumb drive I clobbered the partion table on my other computer so now I'm stuck with windoze as my only OS to work with
I also need to make a installation disk from a windoze computer
how do I do that ?

is there some way to put the ISO on a thumb drive
so that it will work like a DVD ?
after all 8 Gig is the smallest thumb drive I can find

On Windows, rufus: http://rufus.akeo.ie/ is by far the best tool.

had slax running on it so I have a good usb drive to work with

SLAX had a link to a usb installer but slackware install boot image was not in the list of images that it would install so I put SLAX on a usb and used dd to put the slackware usb
boot image on a usb I alreaddy had the slackware package directory on a SD card
