I am a newbie with linux, and would like to play a few windows games. I have heard of wine as a windows emulator, does anyone know of a well working version, and how to install it? Please be specific, because I don't know my way around linux too well yet. Also, is wine capable of playing games with as good quality as windows, or is it significantly slower? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Jeff
Also note that there are some commercial wine-like products like cedega (www.transgaming.com) specifically designed for using games, they may work better than wine on games but are not free.
