Doing a full install with only certain categories selected

I want to install Slackware with just the command line tools, no X Window system or KDE. I understand that I can just use Ctrl+Alt+Number to switch to a text-mode virtual console, but I already named my VM "Slackware CLI", so I have to proceed. I'm wondering what would happen if I selected only some of the categories and then did a full install. Would it only install packages from those categories? Or would it install everything from every category?

For reference, here are a couple screenshots to show you what I'm talking about:

It'll only install the packages you select, but take caution - you might be leaving something out that could cause a dependency issue. Alternatively, Slackware defaults to runlevel 3... you could install everything and just never type "startx".

I hope this was a joke

I think I'll do that, actually. I was going to have two separate Slackware installations - one that's completely text-based and one that's graphical, but your idea sounds better in terms of hard drive usage.
