Disk Error When reading DVD

I was able to install it and get it working close to perfect, but then I put in the DVD again to format and install again and it comes up:
Disk error 80, AX=4278, drive 9F
Some how linux also stopped working and all I'm able to do is do fdisk. I deleted the partitions but I don't know if theyre actually deleted. And now I can't even use fdisk. I've burned two copies of slackware onto DVDs and they both come up with the same problem. What can I do to just get the DVD to work and start over!?

It's highly likely that you have not burned the ISOs correctly.

For example:
http://www.linux-club.de/ftopic56842.html
http://www.debianforum.de/forum/view...52b9a58457c627

If you can't read German (sorry, they're the first ones that I found by googling), they say burning a new iso will solve the problem. Check the md5sums of the isos and then the disks too, if they both check out, then it should work.
