Question coreutils-5.2.1-i486-1.tgz ???


Hellu,

Its my first time installing linux and I got this package wrong while installing slackware at full install.

coreutils-5.2.1-i486-1.tgz


Should i press enter to bypass it or...?

Its quite an important package so I don't think you should bypass it. Do you have a corrupt installation CD?

hello again,

After a while the screen with errormsg the packname changed to something completly else, like its several different error messages... I've downloaded the Slackware from sunet's FTP... I think thats the recomended source to download it from..

If you have two optical drives try installing from a different one and if you keep experiencing errors then there is a problem with your media and you may have to burn the isos at a lower speed. Also check the md5sums of your isos and if they don't match with the ones from the site where you downloaded them from, then you have to download the isos again.
