Can't intstall Slack 10.2> SATA DVD-RW Drive not found

i can't install Slack 10.2 due to my DVD drive, it doesn't find the source files.

the installation does boot, i partitioned my drive, and then i loaded the setup. but when asked to select the source drive it can't find the SATA DVD.

i tried the IDE and the SCSI options, did not try the other listed on the select menu.

im using the sata.i kernel at install process, SLACK 10.2, on a new box:

Core 2 Duo E6550 2.33GHz
2 GB DDR2 RAM
320GB SATA 350 Drive
SATA DVD-RW
ECS MB

Download / buy Slackware 12.1 and try again. Your hardware is new, you should not try Slackware 10.2.
