Can't mount or unmount cdrom unless I'm root
Truly a newbie question from a windoze refugee. I just installed slackware 9.1 (fast!) and logged into gnome. I installed a cd and tried to mount it by right-clicking and using the drop-down box, but I get a message that nautilus can't mout the drive. When I click on details, it tells me that only root can do so. I checked all the manuals I have access to, and, from what I can tell, I as a "user" dont have the proper permission to mount and unmount the drive.
The Question: how do I set slack (or gnome) up so that I, as a mere mortal user, can mount and unmount my cdrom?
I can't wait 'till I'm good enough at this to actually help someone with their questions.
Thanks!
john
