Booting from CD with slack 12
Apparently I'm having an anneurysm or something.
I've downloaded the ISO's for slackware 12. Install 1 and install 2. I burnt the images to CD, and I can read the contents of said CD's fine. But I can't boot disc 1. What am I doing wrong? I've never had this problem loading slackware before. |
Nevermind. Apparently this machine has a retarded BIOS. I wrote an sbootmgr image from isolinux/ on disc 1, and used it to boot the CDROM, and it booted fine. You can ignore this thread now :)
