Bad Slackware CDs


when installing slackware it detect my dvd-rom is connected via /dev/hdc it install disk 1 but when insert disk 2 it say umount /dev/hdc/ is unmounted any ideas

bad disk 2
nothing was on it

Smile I think you're right

I've encountered that same error when I try to install the 2nd disk. A bad disk also came to my mind cause of it. I'm wondering why, when I install the 3rd disk it continue and finish the installation, it's the disk 2 only that was'nt installed.

Now I know.
