Possible to install Slackware-ARM to smartphone?

Hi, just saw this guide on installing Debian to a smartphone in a chroot environment.

Will Slackware-ARM work in the same way on my device (Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53)?

thank you.

You could probably have Slackware arm running in chroot on your smartphone but other then using it from a terminal emulator I don't see much use in it (and you will need to root your phone to do that).
If you want to give it a try start out by downloading and extracting a Slackware arm curret miniroot into a micro SD and see if you can mount it and chroot to it.
