Banana PI USB ports not working on -current (ex14.2) hardfloat
When the system is installed and booted to work no USB port works:
Code:
$lsusb -v
returns nothing
The board is not broken, as in the latest sunxi u-boot (of late 2016) the USB is enumerated and even USB devices respond and list partititons and work.
The moment the control is passed to the kernel, any activity ceases to exist.
Just to inform and help others having this issue.
The issue has been reported, a solution is under way, best case even today.
As soon as it is confirmed to be fixed, this thread will be marked as solved of course.
The board is working, i repeat, it's not the board
The new kernels are out now and it all works here. I've had to compile the AXP20 power regulator into the Kernel since I couldn't get it working when built as a module -- it used to in Linux 4.4 though.

Kindest thanks for the swiftest response!
The kind of service I'm proud about with LQ and Slackware!
I will report back tomorrow sometime, but before i have questions:
Did You omit to update ARM changelog on purpose or out of impatience to report to us first, so we can provide feedback ASAP?
Where I not off site from my B_Pi the new kernel would have been burnt on it already :P

Perhaps you were looking at the change logs on www.slackware.com ? Those are updated every hour or something like that.
