I did play a bit of EVE a few years ago, and I plan on re-activating my account just to support this project from CCP.

Anybody else out there ready to start a Slackware EVE Corporation?

Hmm, I guess I will have to buy myself a new 3D card now.. :)

What, are there really no EVE gamers among the hordes of Slackware users?

:)

It looks pretty cool.

I wish my hardware were up to it. :(

EVE servers run under MSWin, MSSQL, MSIIC and MSASP, I'm afraid even to touch EVE in case I'll contact some unholy disease with MS in its name :)

I have a question. Is it free or pay per month or free trial ? (I know it's not FLOSS)

It is pay per month, $14.95 - iirc. They do offer a free 14-day trial.

I've been playing Eve on Slackware for awhile now tho... ;)

Edit - Eve was built in Python if that makes you feel better about all the M$ products...

That's too bad. I don't like games that are pay per month. I want only a one time fee. I think I'll buy ET:quakewars instead.
