xmodmap for multiple values

Hi,

I am trying to map:
- F11 to work as "AltGr + Left"
- F12 to work as "AltGr + Right"

I can map the keys be some other key, but I didn't find the solution to map it to 2 values.

Do you have any ideas?

Thanks a lot

M.

Did you try something like (F11 keycode should be 67)

xmodmap -e "keycode 67 = Mode_switch Left"

Sorry, my mistake ...

I wanted to map the keys not with "AltGr", but with "Alt":
- F11 should work as "Alt + Left"
- F21 should work as "Alt + Right"

your ideas is OK, but it doesn't work ... I tried already the same thing with:
"Alt_L Left" and "Alt_L Right", but nothing happens" ...

The change are taken in acount :

:~$ xmodmap -e "keycode 67 = Alt_L Left"
:~$ xmodmap -pke | grep 67
keycode 67 = Alt_L Left
keycode 167 =
:~$
Maybe the capturing key event do not get it or maybe the keys are emulated at
the same time while the capturing key event program expect Alt key to be hold
then press the Left key
